GOOD FIND!!

Yesterday, we went to the St. Vincent thrift store and I was WAY impressed! I found some good finds, but the best was this crib bumper for "the boy". It is a pottery barn kids and it was only.....ONE DOLLAR!! AHHH! I couldn't believe it!

Bowling

At the bowling place here in town they are having a great deal for the month of May during the weekdays... $2.oo games and free shoe rental!! So we took advantage and Lucy really liked it! The pictures explain themselves!!

One Fine Day

Today was a GOOD day! Lucy and I snuggled on the couch this morning and watched "Aristocats" together. She really enjoyed the singing and it was hard to keep her on the couch and away from the front of the screen!! Then we got ready and headed out to the Good Will to see what we could find! We got a few good finds, but nothing for "the boy" yet!!

We came home and decided to enjoy the weather a bit. We packed a lunch and took it outside, and much to my suprise, they opened the pool at the apartment complex. So we had lunch "poolside". Lucy loved looking at the water and it was hard to pay attention and eat her sandwich! We will save swimming for another day! Then we went and gathered "treasures" (rocks, sticks, pinecones, etc.) from the ground and put them in Lucy's sand bucket.

These are the days that make everything worthwhile! I LOVE BEING A MOMMY!

It's a... BOY!!

Well, the waiting and wondering is finally over!! We are having a BOY!! I am actually quite excited, more than I thought I would be. Lucy says that she is glad she is getting a little brother, and I am pretty sure Ben is too!! Right after the appointment, walking to the car he said, "It looks like we will have to keep the Mustang after all." Oh, I sure do love him!!

Now time to fill up his wardrobe!!

On Thursday We will find out the sex of the baby!!

Calendar

I found this big picture frame at the Good Will the other day, and thought "I could do something with this!" And sure enough-I did! I made a calendar, which we have need since January, to write all of our important dates on--Birthdays, Dr's appointments, the day we move into our new house :) , you know, all that fun stuff!

yeah, that's right, I hand stitched the WHOLE thing... kind of a pain!
