Today was a GOOD day! Lucy and I snuggled on the couch this morning and watched "Aristocats" together. She really enjoyed the singing and it was hard to keep her on the couch and away from the front of the screen!! Then we got ready and headed out to the Good Will to see what we could find! We got a few good finds, but nothing for "the boy" yet!!
We came home and decided to enjoy the weather a bit. We packed a lunch and took it outside, and much to my suprise, they opened the pool at the apartment complex. So we had lunch "poolside". Lucy loved looking at the water and it was hard to pay attention and eat her sandwich! We will save swimming for another day! Then we went and gathered "treasures" (rocks, sticks, pinecones, etc.) from the ground and put them in Lucy's sand bucket.
These are the days that make everything worthwhile! I LOVE BEING A MOMMY!
Those days alone with your fisrt child are so special, especially with one on the way. You will be so glad you documented this day!

The pool was open- cool! I just love those days where you can focus all your attention to just being together. Memories!
